earthquake in NAV
last friday, october 16 2009, i and eight of my friends planned to go to "NAV karaoke keluarga" in Ciwalk at cihampelas street.
we decided to meet each others at Ciwalk after our boys finished their pray in the mosque, at 2 o'clock.
i, Intan, Nisa, and Lira, arrived there early. we walked around the mall
Intan, who likes shopping, looked some clothes in SALE. she got t-shirt with ELMO, a cartoon character in the sesame street, on it.
but when she looked for the dress, she turned her body fast. and said "OMG, it's too expensive guys. let's go." hahahahha....... we just laugh and continue our journey.
after that, we go to HEARTBREAKERS, which sells girls' accessories, there we found many kinds of cute bracelets with much choises of colors.
after think it for a while, we decided to buy the same bracelet with the same color, RED. and we took a picture of us shown our new bracelet.
on the time, we meet the others at NAV and got in to the room which booked by us on the phone an hour before the time.
i really love my new friends in IMT. there is no 'images' between us.
we are free to express. we were gone crazy with the songs we sang together.
my friend, Intan, dances crazily, (maybe she got inspiried from two streap dancers in the inagurasi campus the night before)
have i told you that we bought snacks from outside the NAV, and it's not allow? ya, but we did it.
i, Nisa, and Tommy (we are siblings), went to supermarket to buy some snacks and soft drink.
then we put it in my big bag. we must do this or we had to buy much if buy in the NAV.
firstly, nothing happen. but in the middle of the song, a waitress knock our door and Nisa open it.
he talked to Nisa that we must pay 20.000 rupiahs because we have snacks not from the NAV's cafe.
what can we do. we dont know NAV's trick (waitress often walk around and sometimes see room fast, so we don't know it) and Nisa forgot to tell us to save our snacks under the desk so the waitress can't see because we turn the light off.
while we singing MADU TIGA from AHMAD DHANI, my body moving by itself right to the left. as a Padang girl who often feel the same like this, i knew it. it's an earthquakes that shaking us.
directly i shout it to my friend that an earthquake is shaking us.
thanks GOD that the earthquake not to big and shaking us in at least five seconds.
so we can take a breath. firstly, my friends want to continue our singing after the situation calms down.
but i dont. i prefer loose ten minutes of our time (times left to sing in the room) to my body and soul.
because i still remember the earthquake which destroyed my hometown.
i dont wanna loose my life just for something that i can do in another day.
but my life, i dont know that i can meet my friends tomorrow if i dont get out of the room.
from the NAV, we walked to find a cafe with good taste and good price (please understand. we are dormitory students.)
of course, the cafe is not in the mall. we have to think twice to eat at the cafe in the mall. not only because of the prices, but also because of the earthquake.
just it bout my experience in this day. i'm not the master of english.
